David joined the management team of Health Corporation Limited after spending eight years at the Lascelles deMercado Group, parent company for J. Wray & Nephew Group, where, prior to leaving he held the position of Financial Controller for the Agriculture Division (Appleton Estate, New Yarmouth Estate and Casa Marantha Ltd.). Prior to this, he worked in the Group Internal Audit Department, as the Assistant Group Internal Audit Manager, where he had specific responsibilities for J. Wray & Nephew Ltd., Lascelles Distribution Center and the Agriculture Division.

He graduated from the University of Technology (formerly C.A.S.T.) in 1991, upon completing a Diploma in Business Education - Business and Computer Studies. He then went to work with PriceWaterhouseCoopers as an auditor, where he specialized in Computerized Information Systems Audits (CISA).

He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He has also started the enrolling process to pursue his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) by the end of 2002.

David, a devout Christian for over ten years, is a member of Faith Temple New Testament Church of God. He shares a passion for the less fortunate within our society and has saw it fit to become a member of several community based social clubs. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of North St. Andrew, Red Cross International and UWI - Extra Mural, where he teaches Accounting "O" and "A" levels.

An avid sport enthusiast, he enjoys athletics, football and lawn tennis. David is happily married to Arleen.
