A graduate of
Holy Childhood High School, she went on to study Pharmacy at the
then College of Arts, Science and Technology, graduating with a
Diploma in Pharmacy (Credit). Following this, she launched her working
career by taking up employment with the University Hospital of the
West Indies. For the next thirteen years, she contributed to the
development of the Pharmacy services at the University Hospital,
and in return received a wealth of experience and exposure in all
aspects of Hospital Pharmacy.
In 1989, Mrs.
Chin-See joined the staff of the Jamaica Commodity Trading Company
in the Pharmaceutical Division as a Purchasing Officer. There, she
gained invaluable experience in the areas of international procurement
of pharmaceutical agents and medical supplies. She later joined
the staff of Health Corporation Limited, at its inception in 1994,
as the Purchasing Controller, a position she held until October
2001. She is currently the Director, Purchasing.
Mrs. Chin-See
holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Hons.) (University of Technology),
Diploma in Business Administration (Hons.) (Caribbean Institute
of Economics and Management) and a Fellowship in Pharmaceutical
Technology from the University of Ghent, Belgium.
Mrs. Chin-See
is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Jamaica and the Caribbean
Association of Pharmacists. She is a Roman Catholic, is married
to Rudolph and has two daughters, Kimberly and Nikitta.
